Yes, when we have openings. Call ahead for same-day visits so we can hold a room for you. Evenings and weekends fill quickly, so we recommend booking 2 to 3 days ahead for those times.
Please arrive 5- 10 minutes early if you did not fill out your intake form. First-time guests fill out a short intake form about health and preferences. Arriving on time lets you settle in and get your full session.

Call us and we will do our best. If you arrive late, your session may be shortened so the next guest is not delayed, and the full service price still applies.

Health & Safety
Yes. All of our massage therapists and esthetician are licensed by the Utah Division of Professional Licensing (DOPL).
Your therapist leaves the room while you undress and get under the sheet. Only the area being massaged is uncovered, then it is covered again. Private areas stay covered at all times. You can ask for more coverage whenever you like.
Palm Massage Spa provides professional, therapeutic massage only. Private areas are never massaged. Any inappropriate comment, touch, or request ends the session immediately, the full price is charged, and the guest may not book again. This keeps our spa safe for every guest and every team member.
Please reschedule if you have a fever, cold, or flu, a contagious skin condition, open wounds, a new tattoo, a sunburn, a new injury with swelling, or recent surgery. If you have a history of blood clots, check with your doctor first.
Often yes, with some changes. Tell us about conditions like high blood pressure, diabetes, arthritis, heart conditions, cancer treatment, or blood thinners on your intake form. We may adjust the pressure or ask for your doctor’s approval first.
Massage can ease muscle tension and stiffness from everyday strain or an old injury. For a new injury with swelling, bruising, numbness, or sharp pain, see a doctor first. We are a spa, not a medical clinic, and we do not diagnose or treat medical conditions.
Yes, with our Prenatal Massage. You lie on your side, supported by pillows or use special bolster, and we use safe, gentle techniques for all trimesters. Tell us you are pregnant when you book. If your pregnancy is high risk, please get your doctor’s approval first.
Yes. Tell us about any allergies to nuts, scents, or latex before your session. We can use an unscented or alternative oil, and aromatherapy is always optional.
Tell your esthetician if you use retinol or prescription acne medicine, have had Botox, fillers, a peel, or laser treatment recently, or have a sunburn or cold sore. Some of these mean waiting a few days or weeks before certain facials.
Choosing the Right Treatment
Start with your goal. For relaxation or a first massage, choose Swedish. For knots and tight muscles, choose Deep Tissue. For the full treat-yourself experience, choose Signature. If you are pregnant, choose Prenatal. Not sure? See our Help Me Choose guide
Swedish uses long, flowing strokes with light to medium pressure to relax your whole body. Deep tissue uses slower, firmer pressure to reach deeper muscle layers and work on specific tight areas. You can adjust the pressure in either one.
It can feel intense in tight spots, like a “good hurt,” but it should never feel sharp or make you hold your breath. Tell your therapist right away if it is too much. More pressure does not always mean better results.
Swedish and Aromatherapy massage are best for calming your mind and body. If you want more warmth and time to unwind, the Signature Massage adds hot stones, your choice of essential oil, and a warm steam eye mask.
Deep Tissue works well for everyday tension in the back, neck, and shoulders. Tell us where it hurts and we will focus there. If your pain is new, sharp, or came from an injury, see your doctor first.
60 minutes is a great start and covers the full body. Choose 90 minutes if you want a full-body massage plus extra time on problem areas. A 30-minute session works well for one focus area, like your neck and shoulders.
Yes, always. Tell your therapist if you like light, medium, or firm pressure, and you can change it at any point during the session. Your therapist will also check in with you.
Yes. Each of you has your own therapist, so you can each choose your own pressure and focus areas. Choose from Couples Relaxing, Couples Deep Tissue, or Couples Signature.
For a quick glow, try the Express Facial. For dry or dull skin, try HydroJelly. For breakouts, fine lines, or uneven texture, try AquaBoost with Celluma LED. For full pampering, try the Signature Facial. Your esthetician checks your skin first and adjusts the treatment.
Yes. Book them back to back online or call us to schedule both. Many guests enjoy the massage first, then the facial, so they leave relaxed and glowing
During Your Massage
Wear anything comfortable. You will undress to your comfort level in private, and you stay covered by a sheet the whole time. New to massage? Read our First Visit guide.
No. Undress only to your comfort level. Some guests remove everything, and others keep their underwear on.
Yes, it is completely up to you. Some guests like to chat, and others prefer to stay quiet and rest. Your therapist will follow your lead. The only talking we encourage is telling us what feels good and what does not.
Just say it: “a little lighter, please” or “you can go firmer.” You can also tell us if you are cold, want to use restroom, or need to change position. You will never offend your therapist. It helps us give you a better massage.
That is completely normal and means you are truly relaxed. Your therapist will gently let you know if you need to turn over.
Please don’t worry. Our therapists work with every body type, every day. Unshaved legs, scars, and skin marks are no problem. If you have a skin condition, just let us know before we start.
If you are coming from a workout or a long, hot day, a quick shower is appreciated. Otherwise, come as you are. Please make sure dry your hair after shower.
After Your Massage
Drink water, take it easy, and enjoy the relaxed feeling. A warm shower or bath and some gentle stretching can help your muscles stay loose. After a deep tissue massage, skip hard workouts for the rest of the day.
Yes, especially after deep tissue work. It can feel like mild soreness after a workout and usually fades within few days. Rest, water, and warmth help. If soreness lasts longer or feels sharp, call us, and ask for lighter pressure next time.
Deep relaxation can leave you feeling sleepy or a little lightheaded. Sit up slowly, take a moment before standing, and drink some water. A light snack helps too.
Light activity like walking or stretching is fine. After a deep tissue massage, wait until the next day for heavy lifting or intense exercise so your muscles can recover.
Yes. Round marks after cupping are common and usually fade within a few days to a week. They are not usually painful. If you have a special event coming up, let us know and we can skip cupping or adjust where we place the cups.
Skip makeup for the rest of the day if you can, and wear sunscreen. Avoid retinol, scrubs, and other exfoliants for about 48 hours, and skip saunas and heavy sweating for a day. Any light pinkness usually fades within a few hours.
Once a month works well for most people. If you carry ongoing tension or have a physical job, every one to two weeks can make a real difference. Our membership makes regular visits easier and saves you money.
Every four to six weeks is ideal for most skin types, because that is about how long your skin takes to renew. Your esthetician can recommend a schedule based on your skin goals.
